PERRINS HILL
There are two differences here, the closest building was demolished along
with a row of cottages to widen the road in 1932, and second you can no
longer place your goods on the pavement ( it's called obstruction). the railings on the left are about in the same
place as the two steps on the right

HIGH WALLS
The wall in the new photograph is where the rear wall of the houses in the
old picture would have stood, all of these and a shop near the Town Hall was demolished
to widen the road after a fatal traffic accident in the 1930s.
